Timber trusses, covered decks and a vaulted great room

The Kinsch home is finished in deep red board-and-batten siding with white trim and timber-truss gables over the front porch and the rear decks. On the back, the house opens to a walk-out lower level with two stacked covered decks carried on heavy timber posts and braces, giving both floors outdoor space.
Inside, the great room rises to a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and a wall of gable windows and French doors. A stacked stone fireplace with a wood mantel anchors the living area, a black cable-rail stair leads to the lower level, and practical touches like a mudroom bench with hooks and a laundry room with built-in shelving round out the plan.
